Letters and Re-ride Schedule
- The Nevada Re-Ride schedule has been posted.
Keep in mined that the 'Pony' can be as much as two hours early or two hours
late, so come early and bring a snack. This gives you an opportunity to meet
some of the Pony Express riders and learn a little about who we are and what
we are all about today.
- Ever thought you might like to send a Personal Letter via the Pony Express? Once
a year the Pony Express carries mail along the full length of the trail
between Sacramento, CA and St. Joseph, MO. For the mere price of $10.00 you
too can send a letter to a friend or a loved one. Just download the Personal
Letter form, fill it out, and follow the directions for mailing it in. Later
you will receive a packet with everything you need. Be sure to read the
entire packet before you begin writing your letter.
- On the other hand, you just might want to send a Commemorative Letter rather
then sending a Personal Letter. The Commemorative Letter has the same
specially marked envelope as the Personal Letter and will have a special
insert in the envelope depicting one of the Pony Express Stations.
Sorry But the LAST DATE to order letters has passed for this year. But not to worry, there is always next year. Watch this site after January 1, 2009 for a new chance to send a letter over the "Pony Express Trail".
